CKI is an International organization and is broken up into a Tier System. As part of that tier system the University of Maine is part of a district, the New England and Bermuda district to be exact. Each District covers a certain regional area and incorporates all the Circle K clubs within said region. Each District is Run by a District Board. Our District Board  includes a District Governor, District Treasurer/Secretary, District Editor,  Lieutenant Governors, and District Chairs. Each District is broken up into smaller regional sections called divisions and each division incorporates numerous CKI clubs. The Divisions in our District include the following.

Atlantic Division – Rhode Island & Southeastern Massachusetts

Greater Boston Division- Boston Metropolitan Area

*Sunrise Division – Maine and Southeastern New Hampshire

Western Division – Connecticut, Vermont,  Western Mass., Western New Hampshire, and Bermuda

The purpose of the District as a whole is to assist Circle K clubs with service projects, leadership opportunities, and fellowship. The District does this by providing officer training, District Events such as Fall Conference and District Convention, workshops on how to recruit and retain members, how to plan a service project and much more!

*The Sunrise division is the Division in which the University of Maine CKI is a part of!
